Mon 9/10–Fri 9/14: Regular club runs at 4:15 pm
Sat 9/15: Regular club run at 10 am. Packet pick-up run for those running Downtown 5K. Team dinner at 6 pm (see details below).
Sun 9/16: Downtown 5K or regular club run at 10 am. Those who are not running the Downtown 5K are encouraged to run downtown to cheer on their teammates.
The Downtown 5K is a flat and fast road race right here in Providence. It’s a great tune-up to test your fitness level early in the season. The race is next Sunday 9/16 at 10 am. Register here. Be sure to select “Join a Team” and then pick “Brown Running Club” when prompted. Also, use promo code b845 for a discount on registration. If you’re racing, email email@example.com to borrow a team uniform.
Our social-chair, Caroline, will be hosting a team dinner this Saturday at 6pm. The dinner will be potluck style, so let Caroline know if you’re bringing something. (Hint: if you’re on meal plan, you can just fill take-out boxes from the Ratty) Her email is firstname.lastname@example.org. PS, you do not have to be racing on Sunday to attend the team dinner.

Our first cross country race of the season is on Saturday, September 22. Women will race a 6k at 12 pm and men race an 8k at 1pm. We will leave campus at 8 am and return by 4 pm.
